First drug screen for pre-employment question

This is my first post so hello to all my fellow weedheads.

I just took a pre-employment drug screen (boy the nurses were miserable) and used quick fix. I cut out the inside of my shoe and put the bottle in under the tongue. Tempurature was 96 and I think all went well. I was curious as to how long it takes the lab to get the results to the employer. The nurse told me 2 days. I will now not know the results until the 10th or 11th of Sept. Is this fairly common for it to take a week. It was a labor day holiday so maybe there is a backup in the lab. Does quick fix stay good or can labs overstep boundries and look more into a sample if they feel it is not real?
I'm being paranoid about this but just want to know if any of you guys and gals have been through this. Thanks for any help.imp:

2 to 5 business days is the norm. They usually don't test the sample where they collect it. If your city is large enough there may be a central lab for that city it will get sent to or there may be a central lab that handles several smaller citites in an area. It doesn't make financial sense to put expensive lab equipment in every collection site. So take into account travel time plus lab back up plus running the test.
