    drying in the cold

    im drying in the shed and its about 5 degrees celcius at night
    i can keep the humidity at around 50% but is the temperature too cold?

    or will it just dry slower

    Freeze-drying is done in even colder situations! Make sure you have good circulation of air. Keep an eye out for mold- it won't grow at night with those temps, but day time could be a different story. You should be OK. - Granny
