Lynzz I had the EXACT same thing happen to me today.....housefly....saw it on the plant, shoed it off and there was a permanent dark brown spot on the leaf that had NOT been there before. Wouldn't have connected it to a fly I don't think if I hadn't seen that. :wtf:

Sounds to me like you are doing everything the way you should.....I am NOT a soil grower by any means but did grow some outside in the same kind of heat last year.....had a two week period of heat starting at about 105 that culminated in 113 ish degree temps.....and wiped out my plants just as I see happening to yours. They crawled through with lots of shadecloth and fans blowing on them but never did recover properly. It was....in fact.....the last time I ever tried to grow outside and that was a HUGE part of the reason for that decision.
