Gandalf- sounds as if you have chronic back pain ,same as me- I haved tried Reiki and many different modalaties of healing- some worked and some were placibos as you mentioned- what I have found as the best solution to my back pain and it can be extreme- is a combination of chiropractic adjustments preferably one who is into kinesteology and trigger-point massage- the masssge has helped me tremendously- it is not as advasive as rolphing which i tried- see if you can find a massage therapist in your area most will be spiritual minded people

Being the skeptical fellow that I am, I've never given reiki much credit as the theory isn't based on any type of accepted science. I am, however, curious to try it since I can't really write it off unless I give it a fair shot. So I was wondering if any of my fellow tokers have recieved/given reiki, and what your opinions of the experience was. I did try it once about 4 years ago, and it did wonders to relieve my back and neck pain for about 3-4 days after the session. I still remain a bit Rating: 5
