yo i been in the USA 2 weeks and i still havnt herd of ayone knowing wat buckies r. in newzealands we do buckies quite alot its porb ma favourite way to smoke buds. its similiar to a waterfall.
what u do is u get a bucket fill it with water. get a big bottle(1.5l or 2.25l) and put holes in the bottom. put a bowel in the bottle cap(i usually use a socket). ok now u put the bottle in the bucket then put the buds in the bowl and close the lid. you then light up the bowl and slowly lift the bottle out of the water. once the bottles out the water take off the lid and put ur mouth over the bottle and push the bottlie in the water then pull it rite out quickly and suck while u doing it. i have added some pics. tell me wotchu think


also another way we smoke in NZ that i havnt herd of in the US is called "spots" its 1 of the best way of saving buds and u get fuked off ur face. spots is then u have a small cone of bud, you heap up 2 knives on a flame of somekind(cooking elemment are good or bbqs) when the knives get red hot you press 1 if them on the cone of bud and it will stick to the knife. you the press the 2 knives together with the bud in the middle and smoke will cum up and suk that up throuch a bottle thet is chopped in half. gets u wasted!

gimme feedback on both of these methods. lemme know if ppl do them in the US and wat u think?

Well I've never heard of buckies, but as far as I know that way of smoking is commonly known in the states as a gravity bong. It seems like many people around here don't use them, but I love them!

what you are referring to as "spots" is usually called hot knifing in the U.S., and is mainly used as a method of smoking hash

I've done it, a lot of people have. Maybe the people just aren't familiar with the word "buckies?" Most people use the word "gravity bong" or "bucket bong."

The G BONG! I love them. You just gotta remember coming from NewZ that your slang/terminology is gonna be way different in the states. But yes "buckies" are quit common, as well as hot knifes.
