 Saw dust harmful to plants?About to put another six inch hole in the floor in my room...  Saw dust harmful to plants?Jeez why are you putting a 6" hole in the floor of your room? I think maybe the question should be what is under the floor? A basement? maybe the attic? Are you drilling under the subfloor into the the ground? You may have to look out for critters there! The saw dust will not hurt anything though. I would look out for critters though. Nasty little buggers would sure like something to munch on.

 Saw dust harmful to plants?Sawdust is not harmful in general; HOWEVER if it is derived from pressure treated wood, then it will contain very harmful levels of arsenic. This should not apply to your situation.
