    Saw dust harmful to plants?

About to put another six inch hole in the floor in my room... I will have a shop vac and I'll get it all up real quick, but I am curious if it could harm the plants?

As something in the air, as dust, no.
Just don't use it as a grow medium...

Jeez why are you putting a 6" hole in the floor of your room? I think maybe the question should be what is under the floor? A basement? maybe the attic? Are you drilling under the subfloor into the the ground? You may have to look out for critters there! The saw dust will not hurt anything though. I would look out for critters though. Nasty little buggers would sure like something to munch on.

Sawdust is not harmful in general; HOWEVER if it is derived from pressure treated wood, then it will contain very harmful levels of arsenic. This should not apply to your situation.

    You learn something new everyday............

The sawdust though? I had to add another passive intake onto my door, so I have had experience with sawdust on the babies.....

No harm done, just gently blow the sawdust off of the leaves with your breath, just as the wind would do.

This is why cannabis is illegal
