What if these criminals are on some sort of next level? How people look down on Marijuana, people probably look down on these kids and that's what makes them into who they are. I won't say bad parenting bla bla because some parents are wonderful people and their kids turn out into something that doesn't resemble them at all?

I don't think having the macho thinking of 'I'd kill em all if I had the chance' does anything to improve the situation. Try to understand WHY they are out there commiting these crimes in the first place.

I'm in no way defending any crime but simply 'punishing' these 'Kids' won't change anything.

True its because they have nothing to do most likely never went to school and not really interested in much or any sport at all, have no time for a job or cant be bothered with one which is most likely the case.. spend most of their time doing drugs which is an expensive habbit and can easily get there hands on weapons guns etc to commit crimes, its simply because its their lifestyle.

i think it is a combination of all the factors that have been mentioned. but the question is what do we do about it. i dont want these kids in my college or my kids classrooms. i dont wanna pay extra taxes so they can go on adventure weekends. they make their own choices and those will make them.

Yeah I agree with you LIP mate there is one party thats trying to make weed legal which would overall make it a lot cheaper for us and Im sure the government would make a LOT of money from that as they would be able to control it and make sure it is safe and a lot of people smoke weed in the UK, but I doubt that will ever happen to be honest.

What about changing weed to a Class B when are they planning on bringing this in? (not that its really going to make a difference)

Lusaka, Zambia -- A new trend in drug abuse has hit Southern Africa -- the huffing of gases from fermented fecal material scooped out of sewers in Lusaka, Zambia.
The drug, called Jenkem, causes auditory and visual hallucinations and its use is quickly spreading from its home in Zambia to other parts of the Southern African continent where persons, desperate to get high and too poor to afford glue or paint, have been left inhaling the smell of their own fecal matter.

"With glue, I just hear voices in my head. But with Jenkem, I see visions. I see my mother who is dead and I forget about the problems in my life," Luke Mpande, a Jenkem user, told the BBC, "It lasts about an hour."

The drug is made by defecating in a bottle and then urinating in it, or, alternately, scooping a mixture of fecal material and urine from an open sewer. A balloon is placed on top of the jar containing the waste material, and the jar is allowed to sit in the hot sun for several days until it ferments, forcing gas into the balloon. The contents of the balloon is then inhaled.

I know, it's a joke. Your right - it wont make a blind bit of differnce. They seem to think making things illegal stops them. They seem to think that if they make cannabis look dangerous people wont smoke it - but it's bullshit. They're ideas backfired before they proposed them.

The majorty of people want it legal anyway - even those who dont smoke dont see why their taxes should be wasted on people smoking plants - im sure everyone will agree with me when i say i want MY hard earned money spent of things that will actually benefit the country - like sorting out the kids - and sorting out all these drunks.

I dont agree with hard drugs at all - scum drugs i call em, but IF they WERE legal and freely avaliable on the NHS there wouldnt be such a thing as drug related crime - and concidering drug related crime contributes so damn much, you'd think the government would at least concider the sensible approach.

They only have to look at Holland - soft drugs are as good as legal - highly tolerated. The number of hard drug users fell, and the number of soft drug uses has HARDLY increased at all.

Holland also came out on top for almost everything - education, quality of life etc.

Our Government couldnt care less - and by never doing ANYTHING for us, they just keep proving it.
