Shit, i just joined this site and I was wondering if there were any metalheads around here!
right now I'm listening to some Agoraphobic Nosebleed. gonna toke up in a bit and listen to some suffocation, skinless, beheaded, Nile.
you know how (especially in the later stages) metalheads either go twards metalcore, black metal, or death metal? well, I am really into death metal, especially tech and brutal death. I am generally open to anthing, but for a while I have thought that the metalcore scene has gotten especially whimpy lately. any thoughts?

not a fan of death metal, but i will agree with you that metalcore can lean toward the "whimpy" side as you put it....thats because there is a little bit of emo influence on the metalcore scene....actually probably more than a little bit but ya

I havent heard any of the songs off colours yet, im getting my friend shyloh to picked me up the new album from like hmv, cuz he is going there anyways im so stoked!
i think ill dload ants of the sky.. or do they have it up on their pure volume or myspace page? im going to go check!

Trivium is the shit when high. Especially Ascendancy, my favorite album. The drums are ridiculous.
