    Pruning and flowering

I have been reading a little bit about pruning lately and i understand that it is used to make more light reach the parts of the plant that needs it. that i get. since most info that is availible to public isnt always the most clear i am asking if it is alright to prune about 30 - 40 % of all upper fan leaves on the plant in order to increase light to all the uppper bud sites?

i will get photos if neboy would like to analyse my work to see if it was done properly

Stop!! Don't cut any Fan leafs!!!!

The fan leafs take in energy from the light.

I believe pruning during flowering is more refered to taking off lower branches that have little to no chance of producing any signifigant buds. This allows more plant energy to reach growth that is getting ample light to produce nicer buds. As well it increases airflow through your plant.

Cutting Fan leafs is a big No No. from what I ahve read on the site.

But the fan leaves were completely blotting out the light from my most active bus sites. If what i have read is correct i thought u were supposed to get as much light to the bud sites as possible in order to make them grow large???

The reason i pruned is b/c i have had my plants flowering for about a month and a half now and the buds have not gotten large yet. if it is not a lack of light to my buds then why are my buds so small at 1 and a half months flowering???

i will get pics ASAP of my plant

If you're a month into flowering and decided to prune 30-40% off your plants, G.F.L. You'll most likely need it because you streesed the bejeesus out of them.

Learn to train/tie/LST plants in veg. Chopping shit off them really isnt a good thing to do, especially in flower. Watch fer herms.

Buds might be small cause of light ? What kind of lighting you using ? Temps could be too high. pH might be skewed/nute lockout. All kinds of thigs.

I agree with bonger and would also add that 1.5 Mo's in flower may only be halfway for your strain, If that were the case then now would be the time that your buds begin to pack on some weight.
Just carefully grab that fan leaf and tie it to another obnoxious leaf.
