If it is indeed the peat causing this issue. You can simply add lime to the mix to help neutralize the alkaline levels. I used to add peat to my soil mix, and about a cup of lime to help balance the PH. But to be honest, it makes more sense to just not use peat. I used because thats what bog used. And Bog also said to add lime to neutralize soil PH, but is the peat really that beneficial? NO its not so I just stopped using it! Peat helps retain water by the way, the exact opposite of adding perlite. so if your needing to add perlite to help drainage. Then you dont need to add peat to the mix. I think peat is better used out doors where water retention is a n issue. laterz..

Some leaves are curling inward too.. There about.. 3 or 4 months old and are still VERY short - probly due to not moving the light up enough.. There still on 24hr light and one of them is already covered in bud sites, far more mature than all the others, so i want to make sure he's doing okay.
