If the government legalized, they would most likely regulate all distribution. In turn, they would be mass producing crops in the best environments and conditions and probably the nicest strains. These would easily meet the demand and would come cheap due to the bulk. They really could "tax the shit out of it" and wayy undercut the street prices. I could really go on and on. I mean off topic their would be no more illegal drug sales and gangs would die off and street violence essentially ended. Not to mention the billions and billions of dollars the government would put right into their pocket simply by pullin the plug on their propoganda scare-tactic anti weed campain...and this..and that..ugh

We have state run liquor stores in washington. Is the selection "the nicest"? No. Is it decent? Yea. Would herb be any different? No. Would they have the best strains? No.

if it's legal it would likely be sold in shops specially designated to sell it, and trust me, with as much that is known about marijuana, there would be quite a variety of marijuana to choose from, the value of a flower that can be widely cultivated would be dirt cheap if it were legal, and the tax would account for most of it's expense..not to mention the fact that one of the main reasons for legalization is to take the profit out of the hands of drug dealers, and make it impossible to compete with prices..
