    First Timer With Light Questions

    Dude, youcan put the 1000k watt on at any stage. If its a seedling then a light that strong should be 2 to 3 ft above.

    as far as i know there are no 100w cfl's. there are 26w cfls that equal 100w incadecent. you can start seedlings under these(i have started 6) but they dont remain seedlings for long so then you would need 2.
