TOOL9 Reviewed by TOOL9 on . How sensitive are smoke detectors? Now that im in college, i have to worry about smoking around smoke detectors. I just now smoked in the bathroom with the shower running hot water, and i taped a bag around what could be a smoke detector in the bathroom. There are also two smoke detectors in the hall outside the bathroom that i didnt tape up, but i put a towel underneath the door so that no smoke could get outside the door. So what im asking is, is this a safe spot? Exactly how sensitive is a smoke detector and how much smoke Rating: 5
