It varies on the potency. If it was snowed on by the Ganja gods and goddesses, a 1/4oz will still not yield much. You might be able to yield a gram or so of potent kief. But I'm not sure - it all depends on how well you perform during the process of making the hash, and which technique you're using. Nochowder's technique is good for making potent finger hash from pressed kief. Just know that you won't yield much... but it will be much more potent, so it might kind of even out. However, Nochowder's technique requires potent ganja. If you don't have that potent stuff, then you can expect even less. It is a good idea to only put a 1/4oz in, instead of the whole oz, like you're doing.
