Heads up for you UK lads, and ladies. Seems there could be a new type of contamination going around?

OK...so here is the deal: - got a new supplier...the first 3 weeks its was back to normal smoke...but the last 2 bacthes i've got from him the smoke is doing some weird shit!

The ash on the joint is rock solid. when you try and roll the ash in the ashtray you end up snapping the cherry off....also it's always going out and doesnt burn well. the smoke does the job, but the taste isn't all that and it's not much fun smoking it...

Could anyone shed any light onto this as i told my supplier i wouldnt be going back to him again whilst he has this crap.

    Thanks everyone!!

    A New Type of Contamination?

Just to warn as many folks as I can.

Got some weed yesterday with no grit and no sugary sweetness (in other words, no signs of contamination). I started smoking it and instantly felt a dull ache in my chest. It then started to really hurt. Then I noticed that I was having to break the ash off instead of it flaking off like normal ash.

Knowing something was wrong, I did a quick test. I had some left over weed that I knew was not contaminated and tested it back to back with the new stuff. I got a piece of cardboard and wiped the ash from both spliffs (contaminated and clean) on it. The clean ash came off the card just by blowing it but the contaminated ash looked more like soot. Then I put a bit of each on my finger, the clean ash just wiped off on my clothes but I actually had to wash my hands to remove the contaminated ash. The dirty ash felt very oily to the touch unlike the clean ash which was powder like ash should be. The strange thing is that the weed itself is not oily, looks like really nice bud.

Its now the next day and my chest is killing me, it hurts to breath, cough etc. Ive smoked grit weed before out of desperation (never again) but it did not give me any chest pain. Im starting to worry whatever this is may be more harmful than the grit or sugar stuff.

The alarming thing here is that there were none of the usual physical signs of contamination. No grit, no sugary taste. The only signs were the chest pains and the strange behavior of the ash. Obviously, Im not smoking this shit anymore and have got some more clean weed but, with no signs of contamination, it would be very easy to make the mistake of buying this crap again.

So any ideas of what this could be? Like I say its not the usual sand/glass beads or sugared weed. It looks to me like the bastards leading the contamination have found something that is undetectable untill your smoking it. At least with the grit stuff you could tell before you bought it and decline.

because mugs keep buying the contaminated weed, if no one bought that shit in the first place we wouldn't be in this situation.UK SMOKERS REFUSE TO BUY CONTAMINATED SHIT.if you buy some contaminated take it back to your dealer and call him a c**t, i would go without rather than smoke that shit.

thats sounds like something plastic based. like the way it melts and leaves oil. thats so wrong man my heart goes out to you. this really pisses me off because this is a direct result of uk operations to iradicate cannabis in the uk. when will they realise that its not going to happen. prohibition has never worked. the lessons should have been learnt with alcohol. there are far too many people in the uk that want to smoke and enjoy smoking and further more live decent lives and contribute to society. i know im preaching to the converted but this shit really fucking pisses me off.
i would rather walk through a town full of stoners at well i would say 11 pm but with drink hours now anytime from 10 - 4 in the morning than have to deal with one cocky pisshead twat, his scumbag girlfriend and his twaty mates. i wouldn't even bother me if he was on his own cus i'dlay him out flat, just small time predetors always roam in packs.
bit of a rant but last nite really pissed me off.
back to the dope, dont buy from the same person. i did have a half hearted thought about shopping the shit dealers to the cops, that way it would work its way up to the suppliers, but i think that goes against my ethos and its likely the main growers dont contaminate it themselves.
also it made me think, the contaminated weed is most likely with the lesser brained user of dope, likely to make them think about harder things. which have all had there shortages and are now just in steady avaliability. if all you can get is contaminted weed or speed/coke/pills which are likely to be cut, but due to them most likely always having been the effects are negliable.
    damn damn damn damn damn.
fuck the police, we needa take the power back

    rant over

I haven't seen any of that stuff round this way, but we have had more than enough grit over the last year to re surface the M25!

Just out of curiosity who believes that this is actually something to do with your Government? Or do you think it has a lot to do with gangs?

I'd rather believe it was gangs, however I understand that in England the Government are reclassifying the drug. Bit of a coincidence? Also what would gangs have to gain through this method. It's not like grit, where it's supposed to imitate like real good weed.

Its consumer ignorance. If people pay for this stuff ofcourse they are going to produce more. If people knew what they were looking for in the first place then barely anyone would buy this kind of crap.

Obviously with this stuff its sold as buyer beware, as most of the time you aint getting a refund, lmao.

If someone gave me this stuff, and i didnt notice until i smoked it, i would put them on my " list of dealers to call when i cant get any decent stuff ". id also take a picture of it to remind me what this crap looks like later on.

We should start a threat in the UK forum, "What NOT to buy". And post pictures.
