They did a study where they had water particles viewd up close ,all messy and shit. Then they had some people meditate on them, and the particles took on fantastic patterns. My mate has a book full of the pictures.

They also put words underneath the glasses of water. The word hate turned the particles into chaos, and love turned them into a flowing calm kinda thing. Note that change only occured when a human was present to observe the word, and he didn't need to to be anyone wiht knoledge, jsut somone who knew the differnce bewteen hate and love in their minds eye.

Intresting stuff. I've started using some memory techniques for college, but I think meditation will work better. I'll give it a real go.

sidenote: The best mediation takes place in teh absence of cannbis, whic his abit like cheating. Ever noticed how you can only focus on one thing at once when high, and forget what you're talking about alot? It's to do with the shift in what you can focus on at any one time, so it's alot like a form of meditation, only very easy to achive. Comprable to sterois for muscles in a bizzare sense...

Meditation basically means "the art of concentration", and there are many things to concentrate on. I've only recently realized this though, and have only experimented with different points of focus as of late. Most people seem to stay with breath meditaiton, which is a great form, but there is so much more to explore. For instance, a week ago I was having a lot of trouble getting myself Rating: 5
