There are many many techniques in meditaiton out there, and I'm curious to know what you guys practice. Meditation basically means "the art of concentration", and there are many things to concentrate on. I've only recently realized this though, and have only experimented with different points of focus as of late. Most people seem to stay with breath meditaiton, which is a great form, but there is so much more to explore.

For instance, a week ago I was having a lot of trouble getting myself motivated to study microeconomics. So I did my first meditaiton straying outside the basics, and meditated on drive (the drive to accomplish things). I started with breath meditation to focus myself, the centered my mind on the concept of being driven. I started to feel this ball of energy behind my solar plexus that seemed to energize my whole being, and by the time I came out of it I had all this energy to get things done. Worked beautifully.

What things do you meditate on? I encourage everybody to describe how to practice their particular skill.
