    exactly....someone once told me;
to learn about yourself, it helps to know how other people reason and react.

in this case, you read other peoples thoughts.
that's all this internet forum thing is to me.

read around and you'll be disappointed. it's sad to even give such opinion but people are the same all over the world, wether they are "peaceful" cannabis smokers or not.

first off, i'm kind of excited to be doing my first boxy quote thing.

but why the quotes around "peaceful"?
i tend to think that since cannabis tends to promote a deeper understanding of things, and it is difficult to remain angry at the things you come to understand, then cannabis would make people inclined to be more in harmony with each other.

man i sound like a hippie.

And what's a hippy? Someone that thinks of peace first?

After seeing the worst of what a human is capable of......I prefer being "peaceful".

Don't get me wrong, cannabis helps but if you can't find harmony without any influences, you need help.

Maybe it's because I've never had any mental illness but I don't see the need in drugs.

Cannabis makes you feel relaxed. There is no need for most, it's definitely a want.

It's just something to do with friends. Passing a bowl/blunt/joint around and chillin. Getting high and geeking. Laying back, thinking and relaxing.

ohh. ok. i thought you were implying with the quotes that cannabis smokers aren't peaceful.
but you were actually trying to say that it's not the ONLY way to be peaceful, yeah? well, i don't see any reason to argue with THAT.

the hippie remark was supposed to be ironic. people tell me that i sound like a damn hippie all the time. let's not argue.

Wow, all men who lay their hands on girls should be demoted to a sub-species.

Hi my dear, welcome to the boards. You were SO right to dump that loser! Female tokers are a rare breed! (We are out-numbered on the boards about 5 to one.)

So honey, you need to realize you are unique and in demand! We get around a thread a month here asking "Where are the female tokers/growers?" And 99.9% of the dudes here are FAR superior to your ex when it comes to how to treat a lady! I'm sure a bunch of them will be chiming in soon to welcome you.

Don't feel nervous about posting, we are friendly (and usually stoned) here!
