breeding help... im pretty sure this is in the right thread
ok so i have a beautifully female plant going (I don't know he strain, just seeds from some good stuff i had) and there are no males and i wanted to keep the line going because its some real good stuff. but what i was wondering if i could take a clone off of her at harvest and reveg it and wait till i have a suitable male for it. Would this be feasible?

Clone before flower. Root clone/s and then veg while this plant is flowering. After you chop her you got plant/s already vegged and ready to flower. And, you can take clone/s from them for next cycle and so on. Or you can just keep a mom and take your clones from her as needed. More than one way to skin a muskrat.
As for a male, you dont need or want one around unless you want seeds. Cloning eliminates guess work, you KNOW you gots females when ya clone.
Here is a link fer ya that might help on how to keep a mother.

People reveg plants after harvest (I never have), but I have read it is done. That may be your best option, then take clones and make one of the clones a mother for your future supply of clones.
I have even read of clones being taken during flower (very early on I believe), but I would not suggest that as it may stress the plant, and it might herm on ya.
Why do you want male POLLEN ?
You only need pollen if for example you wanted to cross Burmese Bumbfuck with Tiawan Titty Twister to make a new strain called Bumbfuck Twisted Titties or something, or have your exisiting buds full of seeds if entire plant gets polinated.
If for some reason you think you need pollen to/for a clone, you DO NOT. Scratch that thought outa yer head. If ya wanna learn to be a clone pro, do a search here. Hundreds of posts on how folks do it using every way possible.
Hope this clears things up fer ya a little.
Best of luck,

yes i want the pollen so i can have seeds that have the genetics of my female plant now, i was thinking about maybe stressing a clone and making it go Hermie and pollinate itself... i have seen in other threads that that makes feminised seeds as apposed to hermie seeds?
