Now, if you've got any sense you'll leave it, like i'm going to.

Norfolk is so unbelieveably chilled, the police don't really care about weed that much, or the free raves that go on every weekend. I like it.
I don't think I ever really want to move back to London, as much as I like some aspects of it, it's just too sketchy now..

Really it isn't that bad around here, shit has really calmed down since the 90s. My home town has gone down to 13.2 murders a year holding the 66th spot nationwide. But I think every major city in Jersey got a spot in the top 100, JC, Newark, Paterson and Trenton. LOL just realized those are all County capitols...

I live in a town of about 10,000 people. When I first moved to this town, 30 years ago, there was 2,500 people. I've seen a lot of changes. The crime is not bad, I guess. We have 1-2 murders a year now. We have a lot of thieves around here though. Every time I accidentally leave my car unlocked some jackass goes in to it.
This is one of the towns the So. Cali families come to when gangs get too bad where they are. Unfortunately their kids are really bored up here,(theres nothing to doooooo!!!) and cause trouble.
We have quite a bit of meth-heads, but in a town this size, its easy to pick them out of a crowd. The local po po don't really care if you smoke pot. I smoke all over this town, and never have I gotten in trouble for it.
All in all, I love my little town. I think I will stay! :hippy:

I'm in a tiny 'city' of not even 20,000 people and our murder rate is pretty bad. Combine that with the pack of coyotes that has decided to move into a drainage basin right near my house, rabid bats (I'm not making this up; my neighbor had one in here house, it died, she took it to animal control for testing because it was in her kid's room, and yup! Rabies!), stupid kids who think pitbulls should be MEAN and can't be bothered to socialize them properly yet STILL insist on taking them downtown to show off to the other little wannabee gangstahs, and I'll be staying home after dark, thx.

I used to live in south Los Angeles. You can get any kind of drugs, guns or sex on the street. I have seen a few people get shot. I now live about 30 miles north of LA in a town of about 1,200 people. It is very quiet here and if I ever miss LA I can be there in 20 minuets.
