they got WAY worse then got a little better but are gettin shitty again...
not only do a lot of people think theyre area is worse than it is, but i noticed a lot of people underestimate the crime rate of their area... like, just because they don't hear about it, they dont know that all this crazy ass shits goin on

I live in a small city of about 1.5 million people. There are murders every now and then they are made a big deal of in the press because they happen so rarely. a little of other crime like break in ect but apart from that the biggest worry is the great whites that in the last 5 or 10 years have made a habbit of eating people surfing or swiming. since i spend a fair bit of time in the water that's my biggest worry lol. but hey if it happens it happens

compton right now is fucked up for blacks and mexicans. there is a big ass racial war. gangs from both sides blastin each other and random innocent people just because of their race. its not about pirus and compton crips vs surenos anymore its straight up racial now. black vs brown.

I live in the Seattle metro area. eastside of lake washington. very low crime here. this is kind of a yuppie haven. seattle itself has relatively low crime. seattle cops have de-prioritized marijuana related crimes. the south sound area has some crime. lakewood especially. I bet if you removed the meth market the crime would reduce by 70%

town of 1100 had a double murder 3 years ago first one in 15 years my car has the keys in the ignition, doors wide open to thehouse i walk around all night so yes its safe

I live in Columbus right now.. it has its violent crimes and its murders.. its cute little "hood" area, and apparantly Cleveland Ave is bad enough that it is no longer policed. Like a warzone. I dunno.. this isnt my town.

D.C. is my city, and Ive spent plenty of time in Bmore and Glen Burnie bringing KB into Southern Maryland. Murder is murder no matter where it takes place, and if you dont recognize a killer you can be the victim no matter WHERE the hell you are. Education and awareness are your best bets.
