Drug Test SOON! - Heavy Female Smoker - HELP!

HI everyone --

This is my first post, but I am need of some help. I have been a heavy DAILY smoker for 11 years (CRAP!)...and a couple weeks ago went searching for a better job. I had my 2nd interview last Tuesday and more than likely will be offered the job on Tuesday (the day after Labor Day). I know I have to go to a medical exam and drug test (I am not sure if it will be urine or blood, as they haven't "officially" offered the job yet, but I assume if they do, they will schedule me immediately for this.)
My question is: I am a female (5'4", 150 LBS. (most of the fat is in my boobs and butt (don't know if that matters), and I stopped smoking altogether on August 17th - 16 days ago (TALK ABOUT TOUGH!!!). I have been taking about 6 cranberry pills everyday (can't stand the taste of te juice) and boozin' a bunch, but after getting a home test from Walgreens today, it looks as if there "may" be a VERY faint red line (which means negative if there is anything noticeable), but I am not sure...(could be wishful thinking in my mind). Let's just say I didn't pass....
I bought a DETOX 7 thing from Target today too and have started taking those pills (taking more than recommended since the test will probably be before the end of the week)....Any recommendations to speed this up even further?? I have been drinking water and have vitamin B-12 and aspirin for the day of the test to follow the other 'rules'.
Also, another question: There are many posters on other websites that swear by Certol (the canning pectin)...anyone know if that works???
Anything else you can think of? If I don't pass, what'll happen?? (Besides not getting the job!!) I live in MN. Eh?

um dunno if you'll pass or not but I'm pretty sure the only thing that will happen if you don't is losing the offer which isn't any worse than how you started. I don't think they pursue anything legally if that's what you meant cause it's not like you will be in posession of anything or under the influence at the time, ya know? Good luck..

I *was* a heavy daily smoker (all day everyday for 20 years except while I was at work) too PhotoGeek. I am a male/6'1/175lbs most days and do very little aerobic excercise. I decied to let my system dry out and also bought a bunch of test strips and found that it took me 36 days to get a negative line (or what I considered negative as I as well thought I might be hallucinating the line on other days) without any dilution loading. I have my test on Tuesday probably and I'm still going to use the dilution procedures in the dilution sticky -- Just wanted to let you know that it took that long for my body to meet the < 50ng level -- It may be my genetics or metabolism, but I'm pretty sure I'm testing negative now as it's been negative with my first urine of the day for 2 days now (and today is my 40th day since smoking -- I know how hard that is too!!) -- Good luck with your test and mine -- I'll post when I know something for sure, but I'm still nervous and hoping to pass. Just wanted to let you know how it's been going for me. Today I went out and ate medium steak, pot roast, ham and chicken in hopes of upping my creatnine levels at a local Golden Corral.

Still wondering about the pectin (Certol) thing.
Who knows....they could offer me min. wage (kidding) and I could say no anyway....
All I know is that all this shit is giving me a headache....literally. If I don't pass and don't get the job, I really don't care, as I think all this drug testing crap is bullshit...I managed to still bring in a half a million in sales being high every day.

I'll eat red meat too, and do the aspirin, B-12, pretty much everything that is recommended except sub urine....I can't handle the pressure of going to that length. The only experience I have with this is taking a 90 hair test after 65 days of not smoking, and a urine test after 35. (both for HUGE corporations -- Budweiser and Kodak about 7 years ago.) Passed each time with nothing...I am just afraid of literally being a few days shy of passing..

Any females out there with this experience?

Did you use the first void of the day? If the line can be photocopied or a picture taken of it, it is a line. It is B-2 not B-12 and color is the least important thing unless it is an instant test. The certo thing is hit or miss as it is usually used in conjunction with dilution. Drinking lots of water for days before the test will not help help you flush of metabolites.

One word- SUBSTITUTION! Either have a quiet talk with a very dear friend, or buy some synthetic! (check eBay or google it) So far, only probation UAs are watched, so it isn't that hard to do a substitution especially for a gal. Good luck, dear!- Granny

I would pickup some quickfix just in case your not comfortable with how the test strips come out.It will be easy to sub because no one is going to be looking while your pissing.Just make sure you follow the instructions and keep the temp right.
