By all means....let 'er rip!!! Nows the time to give her whatever she wants.
Sounds like she's just starting to fatten up her buds if she looks healthy (and they do in that photo....nice plants..

images can be deceiving...i clipped a bud today and once i trimmed it, it looked really immature...so can i go ahead and take out a bunch of leaves or will this make things worst

Maybe we are at cross purposes....you said a few weeks away right? Now is the time that you should be seeing the buds fill in....both with more pistils and the three down to one fingered leaves. So are we talking about the same thing or are you talking about 5-7 fingered fan leaves growing more and more and blocking the light? If it isn't fan leaves then no, don't trim. I'd think the bud leaves WOULD be immature at this point....they're just starting to grow but I may have missed your point.

Let 'em be. Those little " sugar" leaves are what power flower development.
They'll seem to get leafy, and then the floral bract will swell to encompass most of that little leaf. Take a look @ some dried bud- you'll see little leaves in there. When you trim, you just cut off the part of the leaf that protrudes.
Right about now would be a good time to hit them w/ some PK.I assume you understand that we have options on your time,
And we will ditch you in the harbour if we must-
But if it all works out nicely,
You\'ll get the bonus you deserve
