Germinating seed

Thanks pete... Which medium do you prefer?

I was thinking coco and pearlite mix in a small 1" basket. When roots show - move 1" basket into bigger basket with hydroton.

Just put them in a plug, don't waste your time with a basket when there that small, transplant them after roots are showing threw the plug.

My plan to is grow in clay rock (hydroton) What would be a good medium to germinate seeds in - that I can also use in / transplant into the hydroton when it's time ? Doesn't make sense to germinate in soil &/or rockwoll then move them into hydroton. I also think it would be difficult to germinate in clay rock. Rating: 5
