WesMan - I think before you run out and buy any plants you should do some reading and try to get a handle on the basics of growing. It's not that tough, although it can be kind of confusing at first. However, your first grow is always a learning experience and there's a lot of the growing techniques and terminology that you pick up as you go along.

The reason I'm saying this is that your question shows a basic misunderstanding of the plants in general. You see, the only real difference between a clone and a mother is their size. The clone is an exact replica of the mother, only smaller. Also, your question about yield shows a lack of knowledge about the growing cycles. The clone is vegged (18/6 light cycle) for as little or as long a time as you want, depending upon the size of the plant you want to ultimately end up with. Even then, there are various factors such as strain, growing method, FIM/top, etc. that can determine your eventual harvest. Anyway, when the vegging plant reaches the desired size, you switch the light cycle to 12/12 and then the plant will flower and produce buds.

Anyhoo - before you spend any money on clones, you might want to get a better handle on some of the basic growing knowledge.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck!
