flowering with both MH and HPS

Hey guys, i have a 430w hps and a 400w mh. Usually use one for veg. and one for flower.I know that using both spectrum is the best and that uvb seem to produce more potency, trouble is i dont really want to run 830w plus fans etc... for 2 months of flowering. Is it possible to use the HPS for the first few weeks of flowering and then add the MH to the mix or will this lead to stress and maybe hermies. and will it be beneficial to the plants at all... thanx guys.

Other way 'round- run the mh solo thru stretch, then kick on the hps.

mh will help minimize stretch ,keep structure tight.

if you run your mh in the last stages of flowering you will increase your trichome thc content according to the ask ed column in cannabis culture magazine.
