This thread is so old I don't even know if you care anymore, but here goes.

I would not turn off AC since mites prefer it warm. The warmer it is, the faster they breed (within reason). I would turn off your circulation fan at night, and leave the strips in there with the door closed and everything sealed up as tight as you can get it. Like I said before, I have a pretty good amount of ventilation during the day, none at night, and I stopped seeing mite movement after 24 hrs. While there is no circulation at night, watch your plants for signs of stress or mold, but within 1 week of the treatment you should have broken the life cycle, and I don't think the absence of ventilation at night for that long will hurt anything.
