Question for people who buy medical marijuana

The clubs in SF I went to always charged $45-$50 for 1/8, but I never really bought an eigth, as I always bought an Oz or 2. I dunno what street prices are for an Oz.
What ARE street prices for an 1/8 in the SF bay area ?

I can get an 1/8 of high grade puick a name or flavor for $50, grams of purple urkle dark dark dank brown and black hashish for $30 a gram, killer kif for a can you believe it, $10 a gram. Those are "street" prices for around here

ps i have some OG Kush coming from Holistic right now at 80 bucks an 8th and my prediction is that it will not medicate me. ill take some pictures of my delivery and post them when the delivery arrives. it may look like marijuana but i really really really think its hemp. ive read alot of things about these elite strains and they say they sometimes have a huge effect despite tolerance.......i must be going crazy or seriously have a brain tumor or something

...and you've gotta wonder how many times a day he's calling Princess to complain that the bud isn't real. ...one can easily understand why a small surcharge might be added to his price.

Yes and no. The grower tells the dispensary, "I've got nameyourstrain." and the dispensary has no real way of knowing if it's authentic nameyourstrain or not. If you're hell bent on a particular strain that you really like, good luck getting it. I really like Strawberry Cough, and you can find dank weed they're calling Strawberry Cough in almost any dispensary, but it's seldom the real thing. Excellent weed - just not real SC.

You should find a reputable dispensary or delvery sevice and stick with them. My friend with the delivery service in the Inland Empire grows and gets meds from other growers. Regardless of the source, he gives some of the meds to his testers and we test the meds for him and report back to him. - Yes I'm an mj tester. It's a tough job but ...you know the rest. - Anyhow, he's dead-ass serious about the testing and when he knows I'm going to try a sample, he'll call me several times and want to know the taste and if it's cured properly and the immediate effects and the lasting effects and if it works good on pain and so on. The point is, he can consult with the patients and give them a knowledgeable description of the meds he has available. That's why it's important to find a good delivery service, and not just some jerk-off out to make his fortune in a year or two.

Hey can't say enough about Ken and the delivery service in IE. It takes a hell of a lot of guts to do what he is doing, I hope that all will always be well for him. I highly recommend anyone in the area to give him a try, quality is there and prices are fair, especially once you factor in the drive time, gas ect....:thumbsup:

Was cheaper for me than street prices. I went to Venice last week and hooked up with some LSD x Purple Kush that has been keeping me higher than I have ever been in my 43 years of life. I can't remember the 1/8th price but I paid $480 for an ounce, that's $60 an 1/8th. I had Spinal Fusion last January and this is the first time I have been able to go without prescription pain and spasm medications i.e. Hydrocodone, Soma, and sleeping pills. The price might be a little steep but keeping all those prescription meds out of my liver is priceless.
