Chronisseur Reviewed by Chronisseur on 08-31-2007. Should I quit? So the situation is like this: I get $7 an hour at this gas station. My boss freaks out due to emotional stresses, ALL THE TIME! We're also required to ID everyone whether we know them to be 85 years old or not. This in turn irritates alot of people. So much so, that I've been threatened by 3 different guys now. I'm not "scared" in the least bit, but to make so many enemies, doesnt seem worth the $7. Am I wrong? Should I had not left my two week notice last night? Rating: 5

Well here, before you judge my tolerance levels, why dont I give you a few more facts.
-I've had my life threatened twice.
-I've had 4-5 guys waiting for me outside the store in a pickup truck
-I've been called everything from asshole to retard
-I've had my integrity questioned
...all in 13 days

and I could go on

Hostility is not the word, but you do come off as a condescending individual.

Maybe you could hit the gym. There must be something about you that shows a sign of weakness if you're getting all these knuckleheads giving you trouble. Then again, people have bad days.
