    planning for next year...

this year was my first time growing. next year i want to do it up a little bit bigger than this year. i have an outdoor area that is about 10 by 12 feet. i was hoping to be able to fit between 10 and 15 plants in this spot, but i don't know how many i can get. my questions are about how many plants could i fit in this area? and what are some organic materials i can add to the plain soil to make it more nutrient rich? also i would like to start my plants indoors under flourescents, what kind of flos would i need to start 10-15 plants? answers...comments...advice

Will these be planted in the native soil or will they be in pots with a mixture of native soil and supplements?

i was thinking about starting them in jiffy pots and then planting them directly into the soil. my "garden" area has already been cleared and tilled and such, i just need the additives. it isn't bad soil to start out with, dark and loose and had some worms in it. however i'm sure it could be better.

My plants are in a greenhouse. Six plants that range in height from 5' to 8'. They are all about 4 feet wide. These are Afghans and white widows. If you are in a sunny exposure, do the math and work from there. What strain are you planning on growing?

they wouldn't have the sun beating on them all day, more so partial sun exposure throughout the whole day. i'm just going to be using bag seed from the better bags of bud bought over the summer. i was shooting for starting them indoors under flo's and then introducing them to the outdoor weather and then after while stick them in the ground in the plot after they have a couple/few sets of leaves. this year i had just soaked a spot of ground and stuck in a viable seed and got a nice female plant that is currently budding. next year must be a little more productive.

For the math impaired, that would work out to 2 plants x 3 plants total six plants or a little crowded 3 plants x 3 plants total 9 plants.
