Well, that is one belief. Another belief is that high quality sinsemilla gives a better high (strain dependent), has a better taste when well-cured (semi-strain dependent), etc. Well, actually, that's fact. But the belief is that the high is not the only thing that matters. While it is a big factor, taste and smell and good looking buds (bag appeal) are also mixed into the factor. So you may only be chasing the high, but people like me like to examine more than just the high to come up with a conclusion about the quality. It's just like potency is not always the deciding factor on quality. While schwag and mids is not high-quality, that doesn't mean that a low-potency strain (by genetics) could not be high-quality when it comes to taste, smell, appeal, and the quality of the high (you'd have to smoke more, but that's ok, because it would taste so good, right?).

So like I said, some people like you will smoke anything, as long as it gets you high. People like me examine the finer aspects... and yes, you could call a person like me a weed snob. I don't care, because I am .

dude thats pretty good... lots of red hairs and stuff too, and im not sure, but around here usually only the good stuff has red hairs... im not a weed guru or anything so i dont know if that counts, but to me, if it looks nice, and gets you high, it's good =]

I don't see any red hairs :wtf:. Red hairs on bud do not directly relate to potency, but rather the maturity of the bud. Mature bud can still be low in potency, by the way . It's all in how it's grown. I've had bud that had a shitload of red hairs, pretty much completely covered. That bud lacked something, and that was the quality of the high. But it did look cool, and different. But it wasn't that great. I would advise not to use the number of red/whatever color hairs in judging the quality of herb. If you can't get a sample before buying, then judge it by the number of trichomes, how well it is manicured, and how good it smells. Of course, you should always try to see if you can get a sample before buying it. Some bud is really potent, but has an undesirable high (at least for me). I don't need ultra-potent bud to be happy with it, but I can't say I don't need dank bud.

ah i see what you mean, but around here, we dont have a choice of like strains, or anything its either shitty or its good. Unless you take a trip to BC. which is only 2 hours away. i was just annoyed with the other poster lol
