Yeah I broke something recently. I told the story on another thread so I jacked it and pasted it here:


It's different if the item is new, like I had a percolator and it was sweet but shatterd about 10 days after I bought it. I felt nothing, didn't even want the kid responsible to replace it. But this guy, T-Bong, fell off of an ill-founded spot on an ottoman and hit the rim of the bathtub and from my view on the toilet it seemed shattered.

But after I looked at the aftermath I realized it was in exactly four neat glass pieces with ground zero at a spot at the top of the water chamber that doesn't need to be water tight. The Red Bowl and slide were perfectly intact. I realized I could easily use epoxy resin and restore the bong to its normal functional state.

Those few minutes while I finished pooing, not realizing the minimal damage that actually occurred, were surreal and devastating. There are so many memories embodied in this masterpiece that I've had for 2.5 years. I would not accept that all the dru-hunk idiots I had handed it to all those months were able to miraculously hand it back to me intact, and I broke it on the john, not seeing it fall in time to catch it because I was staring at a time magazine.
