1- For asking... just ask.
Do some research on the net, for question to ask when you're going to rent.
There are LOTS of questions, and you can insert that one right in the middle.

- Who pays for electrical repairs, if any?
- Who pays for plumbing repairs, if any?
- Who pays if something breaks from being old or from normal usage?
- I'm a private person... you won't be asking to enter and snoop around the apartment, right? (wording!!!!)
- When can I move things into the apartment? Weekdays? Weekends? Do I have to schedule with the administration?

etc. etc.

Be smart.

2- For that type of grow, I would rent in a building... preferably, a tall floor. The taller, the better, IMHO.
You'll probably have the air conditioner running 24/7.

3- Dried product::: A good performance measurement is GRAMS per WATT. g/W.

Here's super mega rules of thumb:
helpless n00b under 0.50 g/W
a good grow should do 0.50 or higher g/W
and a kick-ass grow would be 1.00 g/W

I'm interested to know if anybody gets something BIG over 1.00 g/W
Something like 1.5g/W or more.
A friend told me he used to grow 2.5 g/W in Amsterdam... but I just didn't believe him. I kept on smoking.

Hope that helps buddy!

Lets say you were going to grow in a rented apartment or house. The house would be used solely for growing purposes. 1. What is a good sign, or is there a smart way to ask, whether or not the owners will be visiting the property very infrequently - hopefully not at all and 2. What are the best types of places to rent for a small scale grow - I am talking about maybe 1 to 2 thousand watts? and a growing question - 3. How much dried product could be obtained with 1000-2000W (HPS)? Rating: 5
