Dog food, toothpaste, Mattel toys.........they've been exposed. NOW it's time for the consumer to express thier distaste at the check out lines. Like the ol' saying goes; You get what you pay for. Buy cheap and you get exactly that.....cheap product.

With Mattel they're not only talking about a massive recall on toys with possible lawsuits for the lead poisoning but also to make them pay for lead testing for ALL children that had their product at $200 a pop.

i suppose you're right about supply and demand, but consumers shouldn't have to take full responsiblity for it. the way i see it, the demand creates pressure to push stuff out, so the people in charge take shortcuts and bypass saftey in an attempt to keep up with demand.

did you know one of the main CEO's (or someone high up) hung himself after all the mattel drama?
