need help & information asap
hi everyone, i am a new member in this community and a first time grower.....i have a few questions to make....here goes.....two weeks ago i planted 9 seeds of feminised 100% twilight bought from dutch passion.....i have them from the beggining into 10 lt (a little more than 2 gallons) round buckets which i sterilised using bleach....i use two different kinds of soil bought from a specialized store...the soil is enriched with Nitrogen , organic material, is sterilized and of ph between 6,5-7....my growing room is around: L=10 ft W=3ft H=12ft.....it has a small window which i have open for ventilation and fresh air and have covered it in such way that the minimal amount of light is seen (almost no light is seen).....i use a 400 watt hps....i haven't used yet any fertilisers as i red in a thread over here not to do so if the first two leaves do not get yellow (sign of N deficiency)....the fertilisers i have are the following....for veg i have one with NPK:70-30-60 and particles of Boron,Zinc,Fe,Mg,Mo,Cu......for blooming i have one with NPK:0-13-14.....
My questions are:
Right now i have them under 18/6....finished second week of veg and plants show height of 10cm...when should i change into 12/12?
What kind of characteristics should i expect from the Twilight plant being a 100% Indica?
What kind of yield should i expect given all the details i described above?
Has anyone in the past ever cultivated this type of plant?Any experiences?
What can i do for odour control? My budget is somehow very limited. Is it a very smelly plant?
Hopefully i will put some pictures of my babies later on......thanx for reading this thread and thanx in advance for any replies i may have......
PS....for air circulation i use 4 computer fans and for CO2 enrichment i will make this famous setup with water, sugar and yeast....

If you have 9 you should flower when they are about 9 inches tall. They will quickly out grow one 400 HPS

thanx for the tip IthoughtIknewitall but seems a little bit strange, as 9 inches seem too little...it's less than a foot tall if i am not mistaken....less than 30cm....if i flower them at 9 inches (around 24 cm) as you suggest, around what height would i expect them to finish and what yield should i expect to gain? with my calculations i suppose they will be there (at 9 inch) in about 2 weeks....that will be exactly 4 weeks from seeds......thanx for the suggestion.....furthermore i would like to add that outside is snowing right now and i have closed/sealed the window as it is below zero....would not want them to freeze to death......cheers

they will double to tripple in size, can you raise the light up to the top of the room? if you can wait untill they are 4 feet to flower, if not, just devide the maximum heigt by 3 (its an indica, will not strech as much, but 3 to be safe. you will need to fit all plants in a 15 foot area and have the lamp in the middle to get a reasonable watts/foot (26) this is still low, but will work.
as far as how it will look, it is indica dom, so it will have broad dark green leafs. Tite internode structure and dense buds. Little strech in flowering and short over all stature. Will probably be branchy. check the breeder est. yield for that stat for I have never grown this strain

thanx for the info llamaman666......the breeder states that the Twilight gives an abundant yield...but does not state/give any numbers....what does this mean in numbers....anyways out of nine (hopefully) females....ok let's say seven to be more realistic as i do not expect all nine to be females....around what yield should i expect from seven females if everything goes well? would aroung 2 pounds total be realistic or is it a dream?
i can't wait that long to flower them, until they are 4 foot high.....i have the space in height but if i do so , a)it will take much longer to smoke it & b) they will fill all available space in width and i will not be able to move around them at all......
i think i will try to floer them when they reach around two feet in height...after all seems more efficient for tha wattage i have in my disposal......what do you suggest?
I also think to try and give in half of them a solution of mineral water in which i will dissolve contraception pills....i heard that it works great even though i've read over here in some thread that it is bullshit....i've got these two pills used for birth control called ''the after-pill'' or ''the pill of the following morning''.....it is a contraceptive pill that contains the hormone Levonorgestrel which is supposed to be used by women who do not want to be pregnant and do not make use of contraceptives....it has to be very strong hormone....i hope this will boost my plants in vegetative growth.....i have read it somewhere that a grower has reported that his plants treated with birth control pills grew around 200% faster than those not treated with such treatment.....i will cross my fingers........
Hope that did not get you people tired reading all this and waiting for any replies...thank you!

thanx for the info all of you guys.....spliffbuilder you're absolutely right man....i certainly do not want to grow tits by smoking my spliffs.....in the meantime ti did some research and i discovered that THERE are hormones that promote rapid vegetative growth but these are vegetable/plant hormones and are extracted from plants....i.e the substance called ethylene acts as a growth hormone.....i also found out a producer or this substance in china with no representative at all over here in italy....bad luck....i guess i will stick to the old fashioned and traditional way of growing and treating my ladies....finally i sent an e-mail to Dutch Passion seedbank asking the same questions i set over here to you guys and i am waiting for their reply.....in a couple of days hopefully i will post fotos of my babies and hopefully Dutch Passions' reply to my questions.....cheers all!!!!!!

i would like again your opinion on this......it is bloody snowing outside....it is getting even worse day by day....is the third day that i have the window closed....no fresh air coming in .....i just go in the growing room 4-5 times a day in order to change the air a bit....i talk to them and approaching from the top i directly breath on their leaves....it's the third week now from seed and the second week on 18/6...if i change back to 24/0 will that stress the ladies? i get a little bit worried about the temperature drop in the room as it has lots of height till the ceiling and the heat from the hps lamp is not a problem as initially thought would be.....also i read in the Dutch Passion homepage that a lower temperature gives more females but my seeds are feminised anyway.....anyone reply....need advice.....third week and have not used any fertiliser yet...just mineral bottled water....and lots of love.....

hello again guys.....dutch passion have already answered to my e-mail showing once again how good business they have/are....anyways....i would like to add some info that i got for the water i am using....let's say a small analysis of it....pH=7.68, CO2=9.6mg/lt ,
O2=7.1mg/lt , Na=6.8mg/lt , K=1.1mg/lt , Mg=30mg/lt , Ca=46mg/lt, N=6.8mg/lt, Cl=2.8mg/lt, S=4.9mg/lt, SiO2=17mg/lt......
Given these details will i ever face any nuts defficiencies? i am in week 3 veg.....no signs of any problems...have lowered the lights a little bit more to around 40-50 cm from tips of plants and have not used any ferts yet....just the water i describe above...any comments?
thanx!
