LST in flowering

I am growing a plant and Im gonna LST the fuck out of it in vegetation, but my question is should I leave the strings on during flowering or let it go up to the screen? And It is VERY hight limited, so I am use a very small screen, that will not let the plant through (its like double the size of a window screen) but the light through. So leave the strings or use the screen?

Strings may not be enough... you know how whiley mr weed can be sometime. ya tie him down and he just keeps growing to darn high : )ahahaha

It isnt started yet, wana get more info first. But it will be one 100 watt cfl with reflector in an 8X8X8 box, may sound crazy, but it has been done in a 12X12X12 so why not in a smaller one? I will use stardust 13 seeds in some boxes and C-99XStrawberry blonde in the others,

This might suond stupi to most but what the hell is LST. I'm not new to the world of growing just never heard of this method and it sounds pretty cool if you only have a tight space.
