I'm on a mission. I'm interested in building a homemade Hydrohut.

Please submit your ideas & pictures.

How can I create a light proof intake duct for fresh air ? I would assume I would need to make all holes light proof......

1 x 90 degree pvc pipe = Light proof intake duct

use pantyhose and an elastic band on the outside so bugs dust and other unwanteds stay out.

Thanks you for the input. I'll post pictures of my project soon.

I've framed a small cabinet and was going to use the black/white material, but plywood would add some strength for hanging my intake / outtake duct. I think I 'll use a 50/50 mix.

    Darkroom louvers ? please explain.

Is it easier to try and make one or go down to the local hydro store and buy one?

I think I like the idea of using 90 pvc and maybe adding a little extension to keep out stray light....

I've also been toying with adding a small a/c unit or co2. Overkill ? Both would be a great source for fresh air.
