If part of their conditions were caused by the US, does that justify them coming here? Absolutely not. That's why this is an incredibly bold, but avaricious argument.

The solution would be to nip the main source of the problem: a drain to government resources. Their right to live here could be argued all day. But one concept isn't: they should pay taxes to have access to resources.

I don't believe most employment should be tied to citizenship. That's why there should a tax on all workers, regardless of citizenship status. Treat employers not keeping their workers on the books as tax evasion. Most income of illegal immigrants may not be proportional to what American citizens pay, but we should start collecting now.

Still, America has very lax immigration laws. They should tighten them, but without harming the economic benefits illegal immigration brings.
