i played the game, when it was classic. started at the beginning, and when rs3d came out, i quit. i hate rs since it went 3d. the lure of the game just kinda went away. not to mention that my chara, who was lvl 56, and had 99 in all non combat areas, got fucked over in the switch. i went away for the summer when they told people if they wanted to stay classic, they had to tell them, and i was switched over, and couldent go back. over 99% of my stuff got lost in the switch, and never returned. then when i tried to switch back to rsclassic, it reset all my stats, and i lost all my stuff in the bank, and all the stuff on my chara. i lost my scythe, all colors of the phats, all my rune ore and bar certs, of which i had 100 certs of each, and could easily get more. 10 full rune armor sets gone, and at the time i had 5 of the few dragon items that there were, the med helm, 2hsword, axe, and the spear, right when they came out. i was highly dissapointed in the gm team, and them left. my lifes been better ever since. if you want to know of a great mmorpg, look up ragnarok online. i played it once i left rs (my first mmorpg) and was addicted for 4 years. started at the beta of RO, and then went to free private servers and later quit for various reasons, mainly because RO was to me as WoW is to most (i did play wow, never really got into it) and i got sucked in, hard, and it wouldent let me go. haha. mmorpgs are great, but can take your life away, i know that to be true 100%. now the only game i play is table top tennis (ping pong) on addicting games . com. haha.
