So, just so I understand you guys, you're saying that should Iran (or whoever) gain nuclear weapons, regardless of how insane their leaders may seem, and how full of hatred for others, that this isn't a problem and that everything is hunky dory in that scenario? Your brainwaves are flatlining if you're so gung-ho on every crazy wacko in the world having nuclear weapons. Unless...are you Iranian? At least that'd explain your stance on wanting a self-proclaimed enemy to get some beefier weapons to use on us. Not to mention your lack of ability to speak rudimentary English.

BTW, what did we start with Iran? You mean when we allowed some of our people to be kidnapped by them and held for over a year? Blaming the victims there, aren't you? Our support for the Shah, a royal dictator whom we (the West) installed as their leader, and then his oppression of the people was the rallying point for anti-American sentiment in Iran.

Americans (and the other 'Western' nations) have interfered in the politics of this region since the fall of the Ottoman Empire, creating 'nations' from disparate peoples, installing puppet leaders and manipulating them ad infinitum. Americans would themselves be angry should another nation do that to us.

Note: Not picking sides in the argument, just pointing out some background.

Does anyone get the fact that Iran has a million man suicide army that would run over Iraq in 2-3 days killing every american in sight. They have thousands of tanks and heavy artillery. They might not win the air war, but they would surely fuck over US soldiers in Iraq, and if we go to Nukes, I believe the Russians And the chinese may get involved, then we go to defcon 1 and deploy our nuclear sub missles and it is over, Does anyone get this? Armegeddon! You know damn well there are Russion missle subs patrolling off the coast of the USA and by polar routes, Russian ICBMs can strike us everywhere. Kiss your ass bye-bye if we attack Iran, because like Bush, Amadinajad sees himself as the prophet for Armageddon. Unlike us, those Iranian fanatics are willing to die for their cause.

First part of this is...yes, it's incredibly scary to know they have like 40,000 people who have signed up to be "martyred" for their country, should it be attacked or invaded. But I think the situation is worse than Iranians killing American troops over there..they will probably try to hit America directly...
And as for the section in bold..

I agree with Jamstigator...100 percent. He speaks the truth.
We seem to share the opinion that Iraq has elements to it that aren't in the best interests of either America or Iraq...and it was done in a bad fashion..but it was done. So accept it. And try to make it the most positive thing you can.
Iran on the other hand is extremely dangerous. Hell, I don't even need a big 6-10 month propaganda machine(which i believe is increasingly prevalent, both here and in America)to convince me! I know that guy is insane. I don't need any other reason than that. He is Hitler, 2.0.
Let's make a comparison

Hitler
-hated the Jewish people, and also homosexuals, gypsies, catholics, blacks, and many other races/visible minorities who were "un-aryan".
-was a master at manipulation, and getting the international community to appease him
-killed many people.
-was the sole largest threat and cause of WW2.
*list could obv. go on....

Iranian President
-hates the jewish people , doesn't accept homosexuality, or anything not in accordance with Islamic law and custom.
-is currently being appeased to with use of sanctions, and the support of China and Russia
-WILL kill many people if we continue to appease.
-and WILL be the cause of WW3..if we do nothing.
If that isnn't chillingly similar behavio(u)r, I don't know what is.
Finally...I'd say the strongest indicator would be the way Iran communicates with countries like Britain and America...hell even Canada(Killing of Iranian-Canadian journalist Zahra Kazemi...google for more info). They just aren't rational to deal with.

And not saying it's a good thing, but it's reality that if you talk to the US and you entice them...piss them off enough...you'll get put in your place. NOT saying it's right....but they are the superpower..just the way it is.
