    Blue Moonshine, any experience???

I got some Blue Moonshine seeds from a friend who claims to have won a north west US cannabis cup with this same stuff.

    He says its:

    Blueberry x C99 x White Widow

Is this the Blue Moonshine that I hear about on these boards, or is it just the same name.

Also, if anyone has any experience in growing this plant that I described above, let me know if there's anything I should prepare for, or some tips would be great.

    Thanks!!!

'Blue Moonshine' was a Blueberry strain, from Dutch Passion Seeds ... pretty much a straight Indica, no C99 or White Widow in the mix, to my knowledge ... your friend may have made his own hybrid from it, but otherwise, pretty much a straight Blueberry (which can be very nice smoke, but, can also be finicky to grow)

Blue Moonshine is one of the earliest maturing members of the Blue Family. This hybrid originated in the early 1990s. Not a commercial variety, this super potent Blueberry - Indica, covered with standing THC trichomes. Taste and high are impressive, a connaiseurs delight. Characteristic is the long lasting narcotic body high. The average yield is is compensated by the pure quality of the smoke. Short (80 cm) stout Kush plants that produce dense, tight, rock-hard nuggets of trichome-coated bud. A true "hash plant".

    THC: flowering period: 9 weeks
    harvest time outdoor: mid Nov.
    yield: average

Genetics: Big Bud x Skunk No. 1

this is what i found out about blue moonshine.
