It's been my experience that teenagers and young adults sleep more heavily and deeply than they do when they get older. They're not unlike babies, who can sleep through anything, practically. My son, who's 21, sleeps like a dead man. For up to 10 hours at a stretch.

Do you get enough sleep, BlazinIt? Because I was reading a few weeks ago that when adults go to sleep do deeply that they can't easily be waked, it is sometimes an indication of sleep deprivation. Also, do you have any other sleep "issues" like night terrors or sleep paralysis? Are you on any medicines that might be affecting your sleep? Normally we sleep in alternating active and quiet cycles, and there are stages during the quiet cycles where we're in heavy, deep sleep.
