After smoking approximately 2 tons of weed in my life, I have no ill effects from all the plastic baggies and tubs and whatever else weed is stored in.

The glass containers are going to much more air tight than plastic will be.

The author of that I am sure is referring to long term storage. While drying, I use paper bags anyhow, then switch to glass jars for the final cure.

I prefer glass for long term storage.

Plastic will not affect your stash.

Just more mumbo jumbo to frett over if you ask me.
