Oh man! EIGHT DAYS OF DARKNESS! Help!!
So the short of it is this. Went on vacation. Screwed up timer right before leaving. Gone a week. Friend watered twice; both times lights were supposed to be off, so thought nothing of it. Came home - freaked out. My little foto album is HERE.
I think I am about 2/3 through flowering, but could y'all give me your opinions on my trichome pictures? For the life of me I can't tell the diff between clear and milky!!
Anyways, any feedback would be SOOO appreciated. Pics were taken after the darkness debacle, 12 hrs light, and 12 hrs dark. They have since had another 12 light.
It's my first grow and I have been doing pretty darn good thus far - 9 flowering females from 13 old seeds in my shake bag. The buds never got very big... of course before disaster struck I was going to try to be greedy and run 'em through a second flowering cycle.
So tell me, what would you do in this situation?drheton Reviewed by drheton on . Oh man! EIGHT DAYS OF DARKNESS! Help!! So the short of it is this. Went on vacation. Do me a favor and take a current pic of the whole garden or at lest one that I can see CURRENT of the majority of the plant in one pic. Reason I ask is its hard to see inside the trichs in these pics and its easier to just judge by the % of red hairs to white. When you have about 80% all red hairs or more its time to harvest!!!

I am unable to take pics for five more hours, but picture three has most of my plants in it. If you click on the medium size picture you get a really big picture (please forgive me if you know this already!) Picture four is what all my colas basically look like.
Any guesses if these ladies are going to keep maturing? At the very least, green means not dead, right?

Do you think they're gonna keep maturing? As you can see in my pics, my leaves are seriously droopy and many have rolled up like cigars.

In the future, these plants prefer watering within the first hours of light. Avoid watering in dark. Not to mention you can see what you are watering.
As for your pics, they are perfectly clear and reveal your trichs very nicely.
Your trichs, to me, look like they are 50% or so cloudy. At least they are not amber yet. I have no idea how this will wind up. 8 days is a LOOOOOOONG time for flowering plants.
It is possible that what you see is what you will get.
Good luck.

Wow, eight days of continuous darkness? Impressive plants, to survive such a thing. I went 3 days once because of a power outage, and those plants came out just fine, so maybe you will be more or less okay. At least they weren't just flopped over completely dead! As Monty Python taught us, 'Always look on the bright side of life...' (Queue whistling!)

Better 8 days of dark, than 8 days of light.
What will probably happen is they will not have as much bulk as they would have, but they should still be strong.
Be sure to check often for hermies, as this kind of stress has been known to trigger them.
