useing 4-50 watt hps lights?

was at homedepot today and they were havein a sale on a 50watt hps sericurty light; 20 bucks bulb included.... for that price was thinkin about grabbin four of em for my closet grow room... currectly useing 7- 23watt cfl's... wanted to keep uses 3- 23watt cfls and add 4- 50watt hps... would that work or would i be better off saveing up and buyin a more powerfull 250watt or 400 watt hps?

i would go to ebay and buy a hps or mh light there cheap too like 100 to 200$ for a 400 watt light thats were i buy all mine at
