How do you make a poll?

I swear i have searched for hours, and i know were you do it in the poll section but for some reason mine dosnt come out when i try to make a poll. SO? first of all im just going to ask because im not sure if im doing something wrong or not. I have wanted to make a poll for along time now lol

After you start a new thread and you finish writing the post, before you submit it, there is a box with 4 misc. options below the subit reply and preview post buttons. After that it has something about make this a poll and then it gives more options. So basically scroll down before submitting.

i did that and it dosnt gie me the option of writing in the poll questions.. just the option of how many questions

I beat you missed that, I did a test then deleted it. You tell it how many option (up to 10 I believe) then you submit it and it takes you to a message screen similar to the thanks for logging in, click here if your brower doesn't redirect you screen. Then the next screen let's you title the poll question and the option titles, and how long you want the poll to last, if it is multiple choice or not. It asks if you want the poll to be public but I think all polls are private, people can't see who voted how.
