the cigarette thing will work, just pack if full of really ground up weed, and then take the filter out with tweezers or your nails ( if they are long enough), and replace it with a rolled up piece of cardboard ( like the cover of a pack of papers).

During this time people have tried countless times how to show me how to roll a nice joint. I still can't do it. They are sloppy and loosely wrapped.. I'm an epically bad J-roller.
