What if he found a bunch of pot plants that he didn't grow on his *own* property? That happened to my brother, and he wished some thanks to the people who planted it, then he harvested it (it was reasonably ready, probably would have been harvested within the week by whoever planted it). I mean, what's the point in buying property if any Tom, Dick and Harry get to set the rules on how it's used rather than you, the one who paid for it and who is responsible for it if the cops come? So, in that circumstance, I personally agree with my bro's decision. Not to mention, he gave me a fat bag of that stuff, and it was really quite good.
