16 clone grow log....

Just checked them this morning and the clones ph was low at 5.0. The fluctuation was due to me not calibrating my meter yesterday. The EB clones looked like they were struggling and limp. The bag seed clones on the other hand were still standing tall like the ph was fine. I got to say I love this bag seed strain, which ever it may be. I still hope that its a girl, couple more days and we will know for sure.

The ph on the clones is fluctuating up while the ph on the moms is going down. So to ensure that they stay within the right range I offset the ph.

The 10 EB clones are already showing "the coliflower look" on their stems. (I'll post pics when the lights go back on.) The other ten not so much. 4 days is a personal best for me. I usually get the results I have after 5 days.

Is their any strain that can't be cloned? Can males be cloned? If anyone can answer that for me I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Check out the pics. You can see little roots already coming out. The other ten decided to wait until today to show signs of rooting. I can count on all 20 growing which is good.

The cuttings first soaked in the dip n grow for about five minutes under the 1000w HPS. Then dipped them in the schultz take root. Shook off excess powder and then placed in each individual hole, in the bubbler. Foliar sprayed after 6 hrs of light and then again before the last hr everyday. In a nutshell, thats what I did.

Black and white poly plastic is what it is. Black on one side, white on the other. discount hydro . com. And yes each one of these clones will spend their FL time under 2000w of light. Yes 2k not 1k.

This time I saw results 24hrs sooner than I used to. Right now the clones are under 250w of CFL's. 18/6 so the clone focuses on root growth during the dark period. Good stuff.

sweet!! I thought you had the clones under 2k, cfls are the way to go for clones and veg.

I've always thought that a 2,000W bulb will "bleach" plants.
Too concentrated.
But again, I'm really interested in seeing how it turns out for you!

2 - 1000W bulbs. I have seen bleaching with just the 1k when the light is close enough.

Now about the clones. Man look at those roots. Day 7. One more week of rooting and I will transplant to the 16 site drip / dwc panda res. I just cut the holes today. I can't help but wonder how many different ways I could have cut the holes. I guess the way they are now is ok.

My plan is to transplant these over to 12/12 in one week. Does anyone think I should or shouldn't?
